Leafy vegetable Turkey

Found growing in woods, meadows and hedges, the stems, which can reach up to 4m in length, are slender and twining. The dark green leaves are long, petiolate and glabrous. Characterised by greenish-yellow flowers and bright red berries. The plant's young shoots can be eaten raw, but usually boiled to be used in salad and omelettes.
