Found growing in swamps and wet zones up to 1300 m.a.s.l, predominantly in the Black Sea and Aegen Region of Turkey. this bushy perennial can grow up to 1m in height. Its leaves are sauteed with onion and leeks and eaten alone or in omelettes, used in pastries, or cooked with yoghurt and bulgur.
